Server goes down after some while and cannot be restarted

Over the last few days, a fault has developed causing Serviio to shut down after normal operation for quite a while (possibly 30 mins to an hour). Attempts to restart fail and the only way to restart is to reboot the computer. When working, communication with our Sony Bravia tv is normal.

I am using the latest version of Serviio and also the latest Java (2 versions for 32 bit and 64 bit). I have a log file but it is too big to submit to the forum.

If anyone can advise, I should be grateful.

Re: Server goes down after some while and cannot be restarte

Check out this topic: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=10289. The question I'd have is, what changed in the last few days?

You should be able to zip up the log file and submit (if you still need to).

Re: Server goes down after some while and cannot be restarte

Thanks for the response - I checked out the other link but don't think it is related. Serviio itself stops and cannot be restarted (access denied). The only way to deal with it at present is to shut down the computer and restart. I have attached the log, zipped as suggested. I don't recollect that anything has changed with the computer - the problem suddenly started a few days ago. I had wondered whether Bullguard might have blocked it, but I don't think it has.
Suggestions as to how to get over it, would be much appreciated. The computer is linked to a BT hub with a powercable network connection linked through the tv. The stopping occurs even when the tv is not switched on. I haven't checked what happens if I turn off the network as well, but could do that.
