Re: YouTube

All,

I have changed the status of my YouTube “favorites” videos from public to private. Consequently I can not longer access the videos from Serviio. Is there anyway to include the Youtube user ID and Password in the feed so Serviio can retrieve the videos again?.

Thanks a lot

Re: YouTube

Is there any way to turn captions on by default? There's alot of non-english videos, and you need to hit the caption button to turn subtitles on. Any way to do this by default on You Tube? Thanks.

Re: YouTube

Is the video from youtube plugin cache? I have a 100Mbit optical Internet, but the video in HD quality tends to abruptly breake. But with the built-in LG smart TVs youtube app everything is OK.

Re: YouTube

Is it possible to create a feed for your Watch Later playlist?

I've tried various queries using different permutations of:

http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/user ... _later?v=2

and

http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/user ... _later?v=2

I think the problem may lie in the fact that I'm not sure how to make the watch later list Public, or find it's playlist ID.

Any suggestions?

Re: YouTube

Hello, I hope you guys understand me, do not speak English, I tried youtube plugin, I have the problem that takes time when the connection is broken (2-3 minutes), I notice that this happens when the video finishes buffering, I managed to stabilize the connection of video using ffmpeg restricting BW whit NetLimiter to 115kB, with this I could see the video and It cut 10 seconds missing. The ideal is to find another solution but unfortunately I do not know programming, so I hope you can solve this. The problem occurs on my samsung TV 6030. Could perhaps improve it if we can force the transcoding but not if it is now or as forcing trascoding. If anyone knows Spanish, we will understand better.

Thanks

Re: YouTube

Hello. I want to first say thank you. This plugin is awesome. Way better than the youtube app in my opinion. One problem. This app works flawlessly on my PS3. No problems there. The only problem is my xbox. Streaming is also flawless, but I can't fast forward and rewind like on my PS3. :( The Resume option doesn't work either. My xbox just errors when I exit out of the video and click resume. This is a major problem for me as I plan to take a trip out to see someone and they only have a Xbox. Which I planned to use serviio with to use youtube. She doesn't have xbox live, so no youtube app. Please help. Could you guys suggest a media server that has a work around?

Re: YouTube

hi good morning. just make a playlist of nearly 500 movies in Spanish to see them through Serviio. The problem has been that as I read and tested only leaves me 50 to 50 each rss. all work perfectly but I would like you to tell me if there is any way to group such gonzalo playlist and playlist without having rigoberto rss 10 each. acontinuacion leave the link in the playlist and rss as I have right now. a greeting

PLAYLIST

http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLC16026613941C8B6

RSS

http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/play ... be-profile

http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/play ... be-profile

http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/play ... be-profile

http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/play ... be-profile

continues....

a structure with a rss and within all other

playlistgonzalo.rss and in all previous rss. another rss that would PlaylistMortadelo.rss and within all corresponding rss

Re: YouTube

still trying to use this.

- Put plugin into the plugin folder on servio.
- Added some Feeds using youtube serviio plugin
- Feeds showing perfectly in serviio console.
- Replaced https:// by http://
- turned my TV on Samsung EH6030
- Selected Serviio DLNA profile.
- No 'youtube' folder is shown.
- Am I doing something wrong?

Re: YouTube

read the wiki on how to use youtube.
post the "Feeds" that you used if they conform to the wiki
post a debug log showing the refresh of your feeds
post the "Selected Serviio DLNA profile" you selected
