Serviio Not showing

Serviio isnt showing up on my Samsung D8000 smart tv, been using serviio for quoite some time but today its stopped showing.

Usually stopping and restarting or resetting pc is enough to get it to connect again but its not this time.

under status on serviio i can see my tv showing in green so not sure why its not showing on tv.

Anyone have some ideas?

Re: Serviio Not showing

Is your PC 192.168.1.64?

I assume all your devices are on the same subnet 192.168.1.x ?

If both yes, it's most likely a firewall on your PC blocking UDP 1900 or TCP 8895. It might be an antivirus software too.

Re: Serviio Not showing

I have exactly the same problem, but it started happening only today, i've updated to 1.3 yesterday night. TV is a samsung E490. Should I open a new topic?

update: after rebooting my router it is back working. Now 2 problems:

1) The access groups are not working
2) It's not showing my mp3 music collection, I've add it's folder.

Re: Serviio Not showing

How are they not working? How did you set them up? Do you have a detailed log of browsing a restricted folder?

The same with mp3 - need detailed log.

I've uploaded a log with last post. Is there another log? I set No restriction and Limit access and it appears to don't change anything.

Re: Serviio Not showing

You need to do a detailed log (click on the words "detailed log" and follow the instructions). This wlll give zip more information on what is happening.

Did you assign your renders to the appropriate categories as well as the shared folders?

Shame you didn't raise this during the beta (you being betatester)

I asked to be betatester but you didn't answer the PM. I've attached the detailed log. at around 11:20 the program closed, service closed I don't know how.

Re: Serviio Not showing

It is updating your mp3 files. Then it stopped, but I don't see the reason. And then it couldn't find your network card - not sure what happened there.

I read your PM and added you to betatesters group. So you had beta access for some time (your username if purple). I don't normally reply to everyone who I add.

Re: Serviio Not showing

apparently it was related to my router which was not working very stable. now that i've replaced it I will keep looking, but it appears to be ok now.
