I have 2 X LG LA Series and 1 X Samsung ES Series TV's. I don't face any issue to LG TV's. But i have same issue for Samsung E series TV. When i try connect to the Serviio from Samsung TV, i'm receiving "disconnected from DLNA". I figured out this issue espacily if you have many files and directories ( its seems to be time out issue ) I think it can be fix or found an issue by @zip. It's not releated by configuration, router etc.. issue.

Are you using Ethernet over power as your Internet source?
I still have an EoP device from the router to my PC which acts as the media server, and that works fine. It's when I also have an EoP device to the TV's that its a problem. I want to keep the EoP devices on all PC's and TV's in future as its noticeably faster with them on.
I've figured out mine works perfectly if I run the TV on wifi but as soon as I plug in a network cable to the TV via EoP the Serviio icon sure enough goes missing from the source list in the Tv.
I'm positive they are all 4 EoP devices are paired. As they are listed in the utility management perfectly. And i can access internet fine when plugged in, its somehow from PC to TV. Yet something is stopping it being linked.

Have a look at: http://www.tplink.com/au/article/?faqid=484
Is this how your network effectively looks (changing the PS3 for TV2?)?

That's exactly how it looks. I found that page and updated the firmware and it didn't work.
I don't think there is an IGMP function on my router. (Which was the same as yours @denyall if I remember correctly.)
I also emailed support as suggested in that FAQ. Waiting for a response.

No, apparently in earlier firmware versions there was an option to enable/disable IGMP Proxy - was under Advanced, Setup, WAN Settings - but it has been removed.
I did read that changing the NAT Filtering (also in the same area) from Secured to Open could assist media applications - it was written in the normal Netgear vague way, so who knows, give it a try. If it does work we may need to explore if this has any impact on security though.

Ok I spoke directly to TP Link support
I need to go through that document again, I had followed the document and upgraded the firmware as directed, but they left something important out. Adding the firmware file to the management utility only upgrades the one plugged into the computer, it doesn't send any signal to upgrade any of the others on the system. I need to take the others from the TV/Router and plug into the computer and upgrade individually, then reset them all.
Not sure if I was meant to know that part as it wasn't in the document. (seems more obvious now) This is my next attempt will let you all know how I go. Gosh I hope this fixes it. It's taken me forever to finally narrow down the problem item, now to get the fix. If this doesn't fix it I need to call back and they will 'escalate the problem'

After firmware upgrade, it seems to have 85% accuracy now. It definitely plays for the full movie. It has been twice out of 15 or so times I have looked for serviio on the TV. According to TP-link it was a problem with the 'powersave' option on the devices. The only way I haven't tested is when the TV is left on for a couple of hours and then I check if it's listed. As it was always found when i turn the TV on then would go away after 30 mins or so. Haven't had the chance to test that though.
The two times the serviio icon didn't show I just switched the TV from EOP wired to wireless. I found its still quick enough to play the media without buffering as long as I still have the computer on EOP wired.
TP link said if this does not work consistently then they do not have another solution, it may be a compatibility problem between Samsung TV's and TP link EoP.
I'm curious to know if others have other branded multiple EoP devices with their Samsung TV without problems. As I'm not sure if a compatibility prob would be something with TP link or the TV brand.....
