Nope. Same thing with 1.3. Went maybe four hours this time.

Bugger... we will need to capture a detailed log (click on link for instructions) of the event to see what Serviio says is happening. Also, what does your Windows Event viewer state is happening (there should be something to show the NIC shut down with a reason code).

Re: Cant connect to Serviio Sever. Appears not to be running

I have Serviio disabled atm so I can actually use the machine w/o losing connectivity.

I set the logging to debug and will restart Serviio later to try and capture the problem.

As for a NIC event showing up in the EV, I didnt really see anything around the time frame. Which category would it be under? System?

As I mentioned, the Networking and Sharing page still shows a working connection even though there is none. Maybe this is causing a lack of EV events?

This is not a machine I use 24/7 so its difficult to notice the connectivity drop as soon as it happens....but it seems like it drops each time 4 - 8 hours after boot.

UPDATE: I haven't got around to re-enabling Serviio. But, the machine has now gone an entire WEEK w/o a single network issue. Everything is running that is usually running...except the Serviio service is disabled.
