Remote stop working after reinstall of OS Win8pro

everything was working well until i decided to do a clean install of my system ( change to a bigger HD )

now i have been trying to trouble shoot this issue for more then a week ...

updated firmware of router ...

upnp is working on my torrent client

i dont understand !!

all tips are apreciated

post detailed log of when you uncheck the Automatically configure.... checkbox, save and then select it again = save.

ok .. the problem is solved ...

remote is working .. only the check connectivity status is not showing the green check.

not sure why.

Hi, I just bought Serviio hoping to get the remote feature up and running but I'm having into a similar problem. http://www.canyouseeme.org indicates port 23424 is open but I still get the red X and:

I've been trying everything I can think of (disabling windows firewall, windows defender, spybot, avg) but no luck. Could Windows (7) be blocking Serviio some other way?

I have found the red cross to be a poor indicator of whether the port is actually open. My port is being automatically forwarded correctly by Serviio, and yet the cross remains red (been this way for a while - it was green for a long time and then it simply stopped indicating the status one day and has never worked since). Use an external port checker as you've done, or simply check remote access from an external location.

Yeah, I've seen posts around the site that red X isn't the most reliable indicator it's working. I have tried using my phone, with wireless turned off, but no luck. I've also tried setting up Serviio on my another computer but am getting the same problem so I guess it must be the router.
