Removing/remember password

I am using Serviio Media Browser as part of a front end web page on my HTPC for watching videos on my local LAN. However it is very awkward to have to enter the password every time. Is there any way to remove the password or have the browser remember the password? Or somehow include the password in the URL string?
I am using Firefox

NOt currently, new version of MediaBrowser will support that.

I'd like to have this functionality as well.

It would also be useful to have multiple accounts. One for local and one for remote users.

Currently there is only one "username" and one "password" as far as authentication is concerned.

IIRC
