[Solved] Scrambled graphics on mkv movie

Hi!

I just installed Serviio after getting fed up with Samsung Allshare, so Im a complete newbie. I tried searching the forum for my problem but didnt find any good hits. Can be that I dont know what to search for as english is not my native language...

I have left every option to its default except that I choose a profile for my Samsung Device and added a path to my movies in the library.

I have a UE46F7005 and i picked the "Samsung TV / player (C/D/E/F-series) profile.

When I started watching my first movie, a mkv file, the graphics sometimes gets scrambled and pixelated, especially when the camera is panning fast from left to rigt or right to left. Its a Matroska AVC mkv (720p). The movie plays without problems in VLC on my computer. I tried another, much smaller Matroska AVC, that actually worked well....

Both my TV and my computer is connected to my router/switch, so connectivity shouldnt be a problem.

Is this something that happens with certain files and codecs or is it something I can do to correct this?

Cheers
Leyan

Re: Scrambled graphics on mkv movie

After two days of struggle I finally solved it!

Seems my NIC was the problem. It had problems dealing with heavy load transfers. All started working when I disabled Task Offload on the NIC.
