Controlling Serviio Approved Devices!

Hi,

I am currently running Serviio Pro 1.3.1 on a Windows 7 machine. I noticed that even though I set the "Status" tab to NOT (unchecked) Enable access for new devices and set the default access group to "Limited Access", new devices still show up under the Renderer Profile List assigned to the Generic DLNA Profile.

The only way I was able to stop other devices from detecting serviio was via Windows Built in Firewall, however I am hoping to not have to rely on this, in fact this was the main reason why I purchased the pro version.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Controlling Serviio Approved Devices!

They may show up in the conolse, but they should be disabled (right click on them to check), as well as having the limted access group assigned.

Re: Controlling Serviio Approved Devices!

Ok thank you for the answer, I will test again and see what happens and will post back.

Other than that issue, I love the program, clean, no frills just does what it was designed to do.
