Issue wtih Serviio Folder browsing
I've just installed Serviio on my Windows 7 x64 PC and hooked it up to my Samsung Series 6 TV's smarthub. Everything worked perfectly except for one thing.
1/3 folders I'm sharing for videos cause an error and crash back to the main smarthub screen whenever i try to browse it, but only through folder view. With Series view and others i can generally access all the content (albiet most of the content is missing from their series folders, despite attempting to syncronize metadata).
I have 3 folders:
Downloads
Movies
F:\ (Hard drive)
And only the F:\ share doesn't work in folder view. I can open F:\ through serviio and see all the folders inside, but whenever I try to access one of the next level folders, I get an error saying "cannot complete request, returning to MEDIA PLAY screen".
What could cause this and how can I fix it? I had the feeling it may have something to do with the ":" in the name of the folder, but why would i be able to see the top level folder list if that were the case, and if that were the problem, how do i go about changing the name that serviio uses to share that folder?
