Serviio Updated now not showing folder on external HDD Mac

I just updated to the latest version of Serviio on my Mac. I have a USB-connected hard drive. I can now see the main folder on my LG tv but it won't show any sub-folder and I can't see any of my movies or TV shows. I can see all movie/TV content on the Mac's hard drive still. It was all working fine before I updated. I've looked at folder sharing settings in Mac preferences and ticked Share Folder for main folder and all sub-folder but still no good. I'm totally baffled about what's changed and how to try and fix it. I've got nearly 1TB worth of fave movies and shows and I can't watching anything at the moment. Any suggestions gratefully appreciated. thanks

Check the log, but probably the access rights somehow changed. or the USB drive was not connected at the time of the last files check.
