PS3 Streaming Problems

Hi

I am struggling to get streaming to my ps3 from my windows PC to work properly, I keep getting stuttering video.

The files I am streaming are not big files, maybe 500mb 40minute mp4 for example.

I do not think that is too hectic but I get sporadic stuttering throughout the video for 10-30 seconds, both the audio and video is choppy. Sometimes the video streaming on the ps3 goes to almost 190Mbps....sometimes over 200.

I have checked my PC and the CPU usage does not exceed 35% and utilization in task manager seems to max out at 65%.

So I cannot figure why this is happening, the ps3 is also connected with a cat 5 cable not even wifi, so it should not be struggling...

might be the PS3 cannot cope with the high bitrate? There is a tool on the wiki to check video bitrate, try to run that.

Is this one video file or many? Post MediaInfo details for the file.
ps. I play stacks of MP4's - some high resolution (eg. 1.3GB for 40 minutes) with no issue on the ps3, via cat5.

I have the same problem with "ace stream" streaming. My serviio generate very-very big bitrate for transcoded video ( over 100 Mbps sometime ), so my ps3 lags. Earlier I tried with sopcast and it works without any problems, also "slow" ace streams also work. So I have problems only with HQ ( ~ 4000 kbps ) ace streams. All other formats works good ( movies, series etc. ).

Also I have home server with ubuntu server and installed serviio there: video is ok but there is no sound at all

Can you help me please to fix first or second problem ???
