I am using a mid 2007 Mac Mini with a 1.83Ghz Core 2 Duo with 2Gb of Ram installed. There are some videos that seem to "stutter" It's like Serviio can't keep up with the media player. I have a PS3 and a Sony SNMP-100 media box that I use to view my video over a Gigbit LAN streamed from a WD My Book Live 3 TB NAS. I've tried to narrow the problem down but it doesn't do it all videos and the ones it does do it to it doesn't happen all the time. I see where there is a 4GB Ram upgrade for the Mac Mini. Will this help? The only thing I am using the Mac Mini for is to run Serviio and my movie cataloging software which only runs when I need to update the database.
