WDTV Gen 3 does not see Serviio
WBDYMN0000NBK-HESN Firmware updated to 1.01.30
Serviio appears properly bound to the assigned IP, and I can see it on an external PC browser. But every time I try to connect via the generic DNLA or the WDTV live profiles - nothing appears in the media selector window.
Hoping very much there is something I missed - instead of the "drama" attached to real bugs
Started searching for a software client to test this server installation and learned that VLC now supports DNLA. So I tested Serviio from a different platform on the same network - and it sees serviio and can play. So I guess the problem is narrowed down to this new WD TV box?
Also tested the windows media server with the WD TV - and it seems to work too.
