Some files play and others don't. That does not indicate a network issue, so I highly doubt the router could have anything to do with it.
Is it possible that you had some sort of customization to your profiles.xml file that did something different for your TV? Are you sure you are using the same device profile as before? There are several Samsung profiles, and also some tweaks have been offered by other users.
I also doubt it could be an issue with the codecs installed on your computer: to my knowledge Serviio doesn't use anything outside what it installs. Out of curiosity, can you play them all on the computer itself? Need to make sure that whatever required the OS reinstall didn't affect the video files.
