Yet Another Wrong TV Show ID Thread...

I am having difficulty getting Serviio to recognize the show "In Treatment", the US HBO aired version. I have the files named "In Treatment - S01E01.mkv" etc for all three seasons. However, the metadata shows for the Italian show "In treatment" (note the lower case T) which apparently is also english and has only 2 seasons and much fewer episodes. Hence, the metadata is a jumbled mess. Is there any way to force the show ID of the correct show in the filename naming convention?

Do you try "In Treatment S01E01.mkv" ? and in serviio console select english langage preference for metadata.

you can also give the year in the folder name, like "In treatment (2009)"

Thanks for the advice guys. Sadly, neither suggestion worked. Whats bizarre is that in the TVDB the "other" In Treatment shows as english when I'm quite certain it is native Israeli Language (as per IMDB). Perhaps this warrants an email to TheTVDB with a content naming suggestion? Like the comedian's TV show Louie is defined as Louie (2010) as not to clash with the cartoon Louie, I think the HBO version of In Treatment needs an In Treatment (2008) or some kind of differentiator. Or perhaps Serviio could use an update where folder name could be In Treatment (81248) with show ID. It would also help with Xfiles episodes (dead horse beaten) heheh.

So I posted the issue in thetvdb.com forums under "Series Change Requests" and the issue was fixed within minutes. They changed the offending series to "In Treatment (IT)" and Serviio now correctly retrieves the metadata. Rock On. Wasn't the original Israeli version offending, was the 2013 Italian remake.
