Serviio 1.5.1 can't see server on Ubuntu 14.10

Hi, I followed the very helpful instructions given on http://www.tylergale.com for re-installeing Java, FFMPEG, and setting the permissions on Serviio 1.5.1. I have downloaded and installed Java 8, was previously Java 7 The log of the server indicates that it probably did work or maybe is working, unless I'm mistaken, but the console still can's see the server, which the message reports. I have attached the serviio log to this email, because I'm now a bit stuck. Very frustrating after it worked perfectly for almost a year, until the first upgrade.

So help would be appreciated.

It looks like you tried to run the console before the server even started. Server has to be running for the console to connect to it.

Thanks, but I couldn't get the server to run.
As a newbie to both Serviio and Ubuntu, I'll go back to Ubuntu 14.04LTS and reload Serviio, which worked perfectly under 1.4.1.

Although that could be aggro.

Cheers

From your log, it seems the server was running for about 15 minutes.
