Auto Library Refresh v1.5.1

So I have two instances of Serviio running in Windows Server 2008, as I operate two separate networks. A server that runs one of the Serviio instances also contains all of the media files that both Serviio instances use. Both Serviio instances are setup the same with the exception of the path to the media. The other server is setup with full access rights via NTFS permissions to the media data however it keeps getting hung up during the Automatic library refresh while the server that has the media locally has no issues with the automatic refresh. Now prior when running version 1.4.1 i had no issues with the above setup. Now I have tried Serviio service restarts as well as a system restart but that only seems to help for a short amount of time.
Re: Auto Library Refresh v1.5.1
Please post a detailed log from the server that is locking up (for the period it locks). This will assist in analysing the issue (have a look and see if it always hangs on the same file/folder).
Until resolved, you can set the troublesome server to use the old polled method of refreshing (the method used before 1.5) by using the serviio.forceLibraryPoller and serviio.libraryPollerFrequency system properties: see http://www.serviio.org/index.php?option ... icle&id=43.

Re: Auto Library Refresh v1.5.1
I have a log but it is 287mb in size. So I dont think i can upload it. I could put it on my web server but i would perfer to only send that info via a PM.
Also it takes a while with version 1.5.1 to even browse my media. I only have it set to show the folder and file list.

Re: Auto Library Refresh v1.5.1
Hi!
I am not sure if I have the same problem, but seems to close.
I recently upgraded from 1.4 to 1.5.1 on debian 7. I use deluge for downloading direclty to the forders which are set in the serviio repository. This way when I download a movie it appears in the repository after a while. It worked perfectly in 1.4.
but in 1.5.1 it stuck.
I looked into the log and it seems to mee, that the [MediaFileIndexer] tries to add the file during it is not downloaded completely, therefore it does not recognize it as a known format. But later, when the download is finished it does not try to pick up again. Even the automatic update is choosen.
When I run the console and I just thick the automatic checkbox and save, that indicates to run the [LibraryOneTimeScanner] or the [LibraryDeltaScanner] if I thick back and save. Which recognizes the video format and adds the file to the ropository.
Here is a part of my log. I downloaded a full movie with a sample. The sample was added fine to the repo, but the main movie did not. Then I thicked out the auto refresh and back in the console and the main movie was added.
I hope it helps you to figure out the problem.
Regards
Zoltán
ps. Sorry for my poor English:)

Re: Auto Library Refresh v1.5.1
@heder. What you are seeing is an issue when using torrents clients or download managers and downloading directly into a shared folder.
While this post is for Windows - viewtopic.php?f=17&t=18183 - it does describe what is going on and provides two methods for working around the issue. You can try the workaround of moving the file after downloading, but if that isn't possible then search the forum as I have seen scripts to perform a manual refresh from Linux which you may be able to adopt.

Re: Auto Library Refresh v1.5.1
Sorry for beeng off topic:)
And thank you for the info. I will do some research.
After a few search I was able to manage the refresh on demand as you suggested:)
Thank you again!

Re: Auto Library Refresh v1.5.1
I think I'm getting the refresh problem even though Vuze moves the completed torrents into a shared folder (downloads to a temp one). I also get Vuze to use the extension ".az!" on incomplete files.
Even with those things, not all seems right with the auto check. Might roll back to 1.4.2 as that was solid.
Any log's you'd like to see?
System: Win7 x64, all SPs and Updates.
