LG BP620 won't connect

A couple days ago, my LG BR player stopped being able to connect to Serviio: everybody sees everyone alright, and nothing has changed. The BR player's profile was set to "LG TV / player", but I tested generic too. Previously it worked fine under both. The green light is lit up. When I choose Serviio from the device list I get a never ending spinning wheel.

This started under 1.1. I upgraded to the new release (it came out the day after the problem started) and it still didn't work. I did a clean reinstall with everything set to factory settings, and nothing. The BR player can connect to XBMC fine (just tried it, it brings up the file tree virtually instantly).

I scanned through the debug log, and the only error is unrelated (the initial connection after the PC is turned on - it tries again and succeeds).

.148 is the computer running serviio
.138 is the BP620

This is where serviio found the device:

Any ideas? I'd be happy to post the entire log if you like. I switched from xbmc to serviio two months ago - I'd hate to have to switch back.

Re: LG BP620 won't connect

There is no incoming request from the player when you browse. It connects to get Serviio's description (so firewall is ok), but after that nothing. Not sure if it's the player failing to make a connection of something on your network preventing it.

Re: LG BP620 won't connect

I have the same DVD player and same issue. It started about the same time. Did you found out a solution? I was not able to make XMBC to work properly with the DVD player. Serviio was working perfectly.

At the moment, I can start the movies using iMediashare on my iPad. This is not the most practical solution though, just a workaround.

Re: LG BP620 won't connect

I saw on another thread that 1.1 should work. I then uninstall 1.2 and reinstall 1.1. This is now working fine. I'll wait on 1.2.1 before moving up again.

I don't think there are any/much LG betatesters, so i doubt it'll be fixed in 1.2.1. PM me if you'd like to try the latest beta.
