Cannot read file

I am new to Serviio, and I have a Panasonic ET60B TV

Anyway I ran into a problem with an mkv file (3d half over-under), it starts up but stutters and stops within about 1 second with the error 'cannot read file'. The TV doesn't try to render it in 3d by default anyway (you have to select it manually), so it wouldn't appear to be a 3d problem.

According to the manual

MKV supported with these codecs:

Video codec:
H.264 BP/MP/HP, MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4 SP/ASP

Audio codec:
AAC, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS core, HE-AAC, MPEG Audio, MP3

I have tried the following profiles:

Panasonic 2013/Generic: doesn't work
Panasonic 2011/2012: works, but I guess this is transcoding which shouldn't be necessary

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Re: Cannot read file

Just to add, I am connecting over gigabit ethernet, so it's not a bandwidth issue.

Re: Cannot read file

Looks like this might be a similar issue:

viewtopic.php?f=13&t=14301

Perhaps a lack of CPU power with the TV?

Re: Cannot read file

This is a very big stream, so if it was remuxed or transcoded by ffmpeg on the temporary folder, it will grow up, check that you have enough space on this folder.

Re: Cannot read file

If I allow it to transcode, by selecting the 2011 profile, it plays.

If I turn off transcoding, e.g., by selecting the Generic DLNA Profile, that's when it doesn't work.

Re: Cannot read file

If the file doesn't play natively then it's up to the TV, or the way the file has been encoded.
