No Audio on Oppo BDP 83 with MKV

I have been trying to play MKV with my Oppo BDP 83 over my network. I get the video but no audio. The same file will play over the network on my Panasonic BDP220 so although it is not fluid since the computer has to convert the video to something the Panasonic can understand. I have been trying to read and learn as much as I can as I am new to this but just can't seem to figure out how to make this work. Anyone have any suggestions?

What format are the audio tracks?

I notice it says E-AC3, I believe that's Dolby Digital+? I know my BDP-93 is only happy with standard Dolby Digital in an MKV container, it definitely doesn't work with TrueHD.

Try remuxing into an m2ts container. It's the player rather than Serviio that doesn't support the feature.

Thanks again for your input. Sorry to ask what may seem like a dumb question on this board. What tool should I use to re-mux this into an MT2S file container? I should probably also mention these are all HD DVD rips if that makes any difference.

No problems, everyone has to start somewhere

I ended up reripping to m2ts using DVDFab.

I'm not saying this the problem but the Oppos seem to like m2ts a lot better for audio
