Sony Bravia / 2011 -profile

Hey,

What's the main difference with the two profiles? I have a problem where my TV/Serviio won't play some .avi files when I have the 2011-profile selected. With the older Bravia profile it plays those files just fine. When I tried to use the 2011 profile TV just says "Can't play" and the Serviio log file said something like "socket write error" in the end.

Sony TV 2010 profile : transcoded avi into a mpeg2 video stream (supported by 2010 and 2011 models)
Sony Tv 2011 profile : delivered avi file in native format, but its seems that 2011 models only supports SD format, not HD (1280x544 in this case)

OK.. That seems weird. What do I lose if just keep using the older profile w/ Serviio?

For the moment, only AVI SD files delivered in native format with 2011 profile, so more cpu usage when 2010 profile used.
But in future 2011 profile could be updated to support more formats in native (mp4,asf,etc)

And even though the older profile is able to play these files, they lag and stutter quite a bit, making it almost unwatchable.
