The problem, that for the video formats FLV, MPEG-2 TS (MPEG) the FF/REW function is not supported is in my opinion not a Samsung problem but a Serviio problem. Why do I believe this?
If I select Window 7 DLNA server (comes with the Windows Media Player) as the partner for my Samsung SmartTV DLNA client, then FLV videos and MPEG-2 TS (MPEG) videos are streamed to my SmartTV and for both file formats FF and REW (scrolling forward and backword in the video) work. But if I select Serviio as DLNA server, FF and REW is not possible for FLV videos and MPEG-2 TS (MPEG) videos.
Therefore FF and REW are features which are possible for FLV or MPEG-2 TS (MPEG) . FF and REW are features Samsung does support for FLV or MPEG-2 TS (MPEG) videos, if the Samsung SmartTV DLNA client gets the appropriate DLNA server as partner. Unfortunately in these cases Serviio is missing FF, REW.
