Re: Plugins on OSX (HOW-TO)

I had to right-click on the app, and show package contents. It's located inside the Serviio.app can give you exact location as dont have mac to hand to look on.

Re: Plugins on OSX (HOW-TO)

I copied the plugins, restarted Serviio. On my LG TV I do not see any new features. I only see my shared video files. Am I supposed to see anything new?

Re: Plugins on OSX (HOW-TO)

Hi,
Im quite new to Serviio but am starting to figure out this great program.
Question: what is the purpose of a plugin? E.g. a BBC iplayer/ SvtPlay plugin?
From what I can read I still need to enter the URL as I would have to if I didnt have the plugin? What is then the purpose of the plugin?
Will it look differently when I start the Serviio program on the tv?

How do I know that the plugin is working?

Thank you in advance

Thank you.
This docs states:
NOTE: On a Mac you will have to store it inside Serviio.app. Right-click on Serviio(.app) icon -> Browse contents -> naviagate to Contents/Resources/Java/plugins

Does this mean that with an update the .app will get overwritten and my plugins will be gone? Or should the plugins be stored in a safer place such as
~/Library/Application Support/Serviio/Plug-ins/ ?

Yes. I hope to change it in future.
