MyiPlayer.com [LAST UPDATE: Sep-25-2012]

Myiplayer.com http://www.myiplayer.com actively maintains a list of live channels available over the internet, so that you don't have to maintain the list yourself.

The plugin crawls myiplayer.com and extracts the channels. Only the channels for which I was able to identify how to extract the stream information are currently supported.

Please install the plugin and let me know if you have any issues.

Add the links as a video web-resource.

Sample URLs to use as video web resource:
US Channels: http://www.myiplayer.com/uschannels.php
UK Channels: http://www.myiplayer.com/ukchannels.php
News: http://www.myiplayer.com/serieschannels.php
Music: http://www.myiplayer.com/musicchannels.php
Sports: http://www.myiplayer.com/sportschannels.php

My bad, the link for sports is sportchannels.php not sportschannels.php

I have fixed it in the first post.

Not working too well. UK channels only 4 show, play for a few seconds and hang, sports only 1 shows and plays, all low quality, on 5 =160x120??.

I am in US, so while writing the plugin i was mostly testing with US channels. Most of the UK channels require the UK IP, so i was not able to work with them. If you could provide the code for extracting stream information for UK channels that require uk ip, I will add that to the plugin.

also for sports channels i get around 20 streams.

Re: MyiPlayer.com

Impressive list of channels! I am puzzled however because so many of the ones I have tried are not english language. History, HBO and many others.

Is there any setting within the plugin that might point to a particular channel? How do we find out where these streams come from? With any luck there can be a simple tweak somewhere.

Only seeing 1 or 2 thumbnail links per channel now. They do work. Was seeing many multiple links previously. Anyone else have this issue?

Try using the following link for sports: http://www.myiplayer.com/sportschannels.php

actually the page was initally sportchannels.php, they have changed it to sportschannels.php; notice the 's' added after sport.

So use the above link for sports and it should all be good. :)
