Change the icon

Hi,
It's possibile change the serviio icon?
To be honest I find it ugly

You could try doing a icon contest.

Not simply.
- unarchive serviio.jar
- change ./org/serviio/upnp serviio-icon files
- archive serviio.jar

way to common and open to copyright stuff as im sure it close to what have seen on other products.

Ive always used my own icon that is still faithfull to the original, it works better on my Bravia and PS3 too



If anyone want to use the yellow icon for their serviio, its available here, renamed to correct filename to overite in your .jar file using WinRAR
You dont need to unarchive the jar file.
Locate your serviio.jar file, open with WinRAR, and just repace the the icons with the same filename just by pressing "Add", then close WinRAR

try making background slightly darker than arrows and do a green version for teh android app and then its perfect imho

here's a quick icon I made for mac users; Serviio Application , Serviio Console

When I replace these icon files with my own icon, both jpeg and png of the same pixel size, the Serviio service will not start. I've re-archived the jar using 7zip. Should I be using the jar cvf 'filename" via CLI instead?

Can someone share the process they used to do this, please?


I've renamed Serviio to "Hypnotoad" and would like the icon to reflect the name

edit: I did rename the file to serviio.jar, and did not leave it as serviio.zip. Also tried compressing through Windows Explorer, but had the same issue.
