Remux DTS

Hello, I am wondering if you can setup the stream to not transcode DTS to AC3. It seems to want to always transcode DTS to AC3 even though all of my equipment support DTS. I prefer to leave things in their native format if possible. Not only does this tax my media servers CPU for no reason, it degrades quality and often has sync issues.

Re: Remux DTS
AFAIK FFmpeg has problems with muxing DTS in mpegts. That's some time ago, so it might be fixed in a recent FFmpeg version.

Re: Remux DTS
This is a long standing unfixed issue with FFmpeg. I finally sat down nine whole months ago and carefully created some example samples and opened a ticket but no one has worked on it so far unfortunately:

Re: Remux DTS
@patters, could you double check if it's still a problem with the latest FFmpeg? I commented on the issue on FFmpeg tracker and they need confirmation.

Re: Remux DTS
Checked just now. It's still an issue even with FFmpeg 1.1.1 - the audio is just silent when played back on Sony hardware.
