Will not play AVI AC3 files

Cannot play DVD Rip AVI AC3 XVid-Remix files on my Sony Bravia KDL-55HX820.
Files were done on a Mac but I am running PC.
Can play sample files but not the larger Movie.
Any ideas?

Could you provide "ffmpeg -i <file>" , and MediaInfo tool result of one AVI file ? (see signature link)

You can try to select "Sony Bravia 2011 US" profile on serviio console.

And how do I change the profile to Bravia 2011?

What do you mean by "larger" Movie, longer in time or larger in resolution ?
Could you check that you have enough free space on your serviio/temp folder ?

I thought i might add some info to a problem im having with the same TV.

I know that The Sony TV's can be selective in what they want to play, and in the past prior to version 1.0 id just select Sony Bravia TV 2009 as it didnt bother me if most of the videos were transcoded. This ensured that almost 100% of the time the video would be just played.

When 1.0 came out this was no longer a solution as a new problem started the "Aspect ratio issue"

Im currently using 1.1 and the serviio software is alot better, more responsive i.e. fast foward/rewinding etc... and i want to try address some of the issues i have initially.

I have currently 3 tvs so i have plenty to test with

NX710 2010 model
HX820 2011 model
HX850 2012 model.
