Sony Bluray image resolution issue

Hi

I've been using Serviio for PC for some time with a couple of Sony Bluray players (BDP-S370 and BDV-E370) plus a Sony Bravia TV (KDL-40EX503). All images, audio and video work well across all Sony devices, as well as to my iOS devices using the Airplayer app.

Today I've upgraded my digital camera to a Sony Cybershot HX20V - 16MP, image resolution 4896 x 3672. The Bravia TV handles these images fine, but not the bluray players (just display blank screen). Following advice in another thread I edited the file profiles.xml so that the bluray profiles contain the value <LimitImageResolution>false</LimitImageResolution>. This solves the issue for the large files, and most other files play well. However I have a lot of scanned images at 1800x1200 which now don't work, although older digital images at 1600x1200 are fine. I'm confused!

I'm not very familiar with xml so highly likely I've done something wrong. Any advice much appreciated!

This is frustrating as my Sony TV can handle all of the image types (and other media) that Serviio throws at it - only the Sony Bluray players are struggling with the larger image size.

I am not sure what the issue could be, can you try viewing a few of the images that don't work then post your detailed server logs?

This is what I see in the file serviio.log after trying a few images (this is with the modified profiles.xml on my Sony BDP-S370 as described in my original post). Larger images display fine (e.. 4896x3672, 3264x2448), but smaller images (e.g. 1800x1200) just show a black screen with the timer - eventually I have to hit 'return' and no error shows in the log ...
If I revert to the original profiles.xml, all images display correctly except the largest (4896x3672). This only affects the Sony Bluray players - my Sony TV, iOS devices display everything fine.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have a couple of sample images but they total 5MB, against the forum upload limit of 500KB. Any suggestions for the most suitable alternative means of posting such large files?
