If you google 'Airport Express' and 'Witchcraft' you get 500k+ results. Anyway:
Although I'd done it before (and mentioned that twice) - just to be on the very, very safe side: I, again, unplugged the AE, burried it in the woods (that's new) and connected the Bravia to an AVM Fritz!Box 6360. During that process I gave the Bravia a new IP, cleared Serviio's renderer list and restarted the PC Serviio's running at. And guess what: it didn't change a thing.
@Illico: If you
analyse DrogoNevets' post you'll see that he only describes a seemingly similar problem where - by coincidence - an Airport Express is envolved. His setup was working. Then he switched Access Points in a DHCP environment and that, maybe, caused the Sony to lose Serviio. Then he took a bunch of actions and finally got it working again
still using the Airport Express. One can't say which of his actions 'solved' the problem. The only thing this tells us is that a setup Serviio <> Sony Bravia (
2011) does work - even if there's an Airport Express inbetween.
