Mediabrowser UTF-8

Is there a way to let the mediabrowser display UTF-8 encoded characters correctly ?

In my case this is about german special characters which are displayed wrongly.

Re: Mediabrowser UTF-8

Yep, it's a real problem.
For example, /raid/Séries is not a valid path, the scan don't event get inside the folder.
But when I rename it to /raid/Series, it's fully working.

I hope It will be fixed soon.

Re: Mediabrowser UTF-8

2 different things. If the characters re in the file path and not added to library, you have to fix your locale settings on Linux to be UTF-8, otherwise Java will ignore it.

For showing in MediaBrowser, can you post an image?

Re: Mediabrowser UTF-8

Did you try to change website encoding to UTF-8 in the browser?

Re: Mediabrowser UTF-8

Makes no difference.
When I see the page in the browser, it is probably already too late.
