youtube videos not getting in serviio

in the computer in the folder "serviio.plugin" folder following files are there.

youtube-embed-plus

in serviio console -library-onlinesurces two urls

still in Tv I could not get these videos.

but some videos are in computer folders. those are coming.

Not sure if you understand, ill explain in plain English

1. Download the YouTube groovy from here - download/file.php?id=2589
2. Move this Youtube.groovy to you plugin folder ( In windows its located C:\Program Files\Serviio\plugin )
3. Then in your Serviio console, add your YouTube RSS feeds

1. I have placed the file

in the folder.
c:\programfiles\serviio\plugin
I see this in the folder.

4.restarted the computer

5. I switched on TV changed source to
servioo
the above video is NOT there

in console-library-sharefolders

now I have a doubt. My tv is
SAMSUNG LA46D550
this is not a smart TV but an LCD TV.
is the problem because this TV is not a SMART TV.

the method I used is thiis

I went to the folder
c:\program files\serviio\log
I rightlcicked the folder
and cllicked
add to log.rar
I saw the zipped item(zip icon) in the folder c:\lprogram files\serviio
and I attached here.

yes, that was right. The log has not the info I need, so you'll have to enable detailed logging and the send the log again

thanks. I shall try your suggetions. I presume that I have to right click the xml file and click edit and make the changes

Are you sure your checking the correct folder?
Your YouTube videos should be in the folder called "Online" on your Samsung TV

I have placed those you tube videos only under "onlline resoruces - "onlilne rss/atom feed

what I meant was that the items placed under shared folders come but items under"online resources" do not come.

now I go to TV (LA46D550) and change source to
ALL SHARE SAVIIO
Under video I get only what I have put under sharef folder that is a file in the computer folder

c:\users\public\sample videos.

This is seen in the TV and acutall viewed the video.

NONE of the videos I have under online source in saviio console does show under video(there are three folders IN tv whenI change the source, namely video,audio,images.

I hope I have given the input which you have in mind.

On the TV go to Videos -> Online Sources (if you don't see the folder Online Sources, make sure it's enabled in the console on Presentation tab).

Also, the NASA stream is not a RSS feed, it's a live feed. Try to click on this ServiioLink to add that to your library:

I have given name "FRENCH FILM"

(three items video,audio,images)
clicked video
three subfolders
title,FRENCH FILM ,KIDS(short name for another video under onlilne resoursces)
click titles
folder for shared folder from the computer came up and I am able to run it
when i shifed to FRENCH FILM" OR "kids" it shifts to
"upper foldr" and nothing happens.

I do not know where I do wrong?

can you please give me one url for online resource under "online RSS/atom feeds) which you have successflly run(preferably youtube video) I can try it. My doubt is that the url for French film is not correct for serviio.

what type of urls go under online Rss/atom fee/live streams/web resource

after all I am getting shared folders from the omputer in SAVIIO.. I shall save the videos in my computer and then sese in tv. I also connected TV to my PC by HDMI cable and can use TV either as a clone monitor or independent monitor.l

I was too hasty. sorry. in spite of error message while saving console I found that url is avilable it is there in tv. Now could get the youtueb video. it looks the item youo have sent

seems to work. I shall try some more times with some more ;outube videos and give feeback to yuou
