A couple of unsupported files in library

First of all, I am quite impressed of how well this server works.
I am running the server on synogy NAS DS-114.

There are just a couple of files that keep getting logged, as they can't be added to the library. For the videos, I post the results of ffmpeg -i further down.

For one picture I get this in the detailed log:
  Code:
serviio.log.4:2013-12-04 13:14:32,192 DEBUG [MediaItemDAOImpl] Media item /volume1/public/pictures/2009 - Australia/David and Kim 2.jpg doesn't exist in DB yet
serviio.log.4:2013-12-04 13:14:32,193 DEBUG [LibraryAdditionsCheckerThread] File not in Library, will add it
serviio.log.4:2013-12-04 13:14:32,193 DEBUG [ImageMetadataRetriever] Unknown image format, trying raw format

serviio.log.4:2013-12-04 13:14:32,194 DEBUG [ProcessExecutor] Starting dcraw -c -e /volume1/public/pictures/2009 - Australia/David and Kim 2.jpg

What other info is needed here for you to find out, what's wrong with it?

On a couple of vidoefiles I get this as a result:
  Code:
/volume1/@appstore/Serviio/bin/ffmpeg -i "/volume1/public/videos/Le
arning Videos/Music/TrueFire - Jump Start/TrueFire - Jump Start - Rock Guitar -

Then I've got a couple of ripped DVDs from which some vob files put out this when ffmpeg -i is used on them:
  Code:
/volume1/public/videos/Learning Videos/Music/Hal Leonard - Guitar Play-Along/Hal Leonard - Guitar Play-Along - DVD - 13 - The Doors/VIDEO_TS/VTS_09_0.VOB: Invalid data found when processing input

Others in the same subfolder would be fine but seem to get skipped checking. Why is that? For instance, there is another file in the same folder, which when checked with ffmpeg puts out:
  Code:
DiskStation> /volume1/@appstore/Serviio/bin/ffmpeg -i "/volume1/public/videos/Le
arning Videos/Music/Hal Leonard - Guitar Play-Along/Hal Leonard - Guitar Play-Al
ong - DVD - 13 - The Doors/VIDEO_TS/VTS_09_1.VOB"

However, this file will never get added to the library.

One final question. If there are files, which just can't get recognized, should they be removed from the shared folder?

Your help is greatly appreciated. Big thanks.

Re: A couple of unsupported files in library

For the videos, I might be mistaken but I don't believe VOB is a supported format. I rip all my DVDs into MKV containers and they work perfectly. Depending on the playback device multiple audio tracks and captions are available.

Re: A couple of unsupported files in library

VOB is supported.

The FLV file doesn't have video track (according to FFmpeg), so it's not added as a video file.

The other VOB looks fine, are the access rights on the file correct? If you move it to another folder, is that added?

The image - not sure, looks like the library I'm using cannot detect what file type it is.
