Humax HDR-2000T TS files

Hi I have Serviio running successfully and working on normal files, but am trying to access Humax files on my new Humax HDR-2000T. They are TS files so assume same as older ones. They don't get recognised by Serviio and this is the error on ffmpeg:

ffmpeg.exe -i "C:\Test-media\Peep Show\Peep Show_20131210_2200.ts"

The .ts files from some Humax devices are encrypted to only play on the device they are recorded on. Suspect that is the case here - can you play the file from a USB stick or otherwise?

Re: Humax HDR-2000T TS files

Hi - sorry for the slow response. Yes, the files will play fine on other DLNA devices - I'm using a Samsung Smart blu ray player and also a WD Live player and they can both play fine. I have some Sony TVs and Blu Ray players that wont play, so trying to get these to play via Serviio.

Thanks

As this is windows and not linux i dont know the exact command, but perhaps an ffmpeg /? To find what command lists all the available decoders. In linux its ffmpeg -decoders

Run that and search for mpegts or just ts in the output. It could be u need to recompile ffmpeg with support for it....
