No subtitles in Samsung UE42F5500

Hi.

I've recently purchased a new LED TV (UE42F5500) and I don't see any subtitles when I try to stream any movies from my computer. Everything works fine with my other Samsung TV (UE55D8000). Is this something related to the fact that serviio doesn't support subtitles on this model or do I need to change something on my setup?

Thanks.

Iveky,

That was my thought also, but it just doesn't work. Only difference between both TVs is that serviio is streaming to the D series through cable and to the F series through wifi.

Thanks.

Re: No subtitles in Samsung UE42F5500

check profile choosen for both?
wifi could have impact on quality (waitings), but not on displaying of subtitles.
in serviio console, subtitles section, disable everything except first option: Enable subtitles

Re: No subtitles in Samsung UE42F5500

Nevermind.

Seems the TV's default setup doesn't have the subtitles option active. Stupid enough, you need to hit the tools button only when you select the HDMI source to be able to access the option.

Thanks :)
