No stored files found
Start serviio.sh and then serviio-console.sh.
Samsung in its "All Content" page displays a "sub-window" named Serviio.
(I, earlier this week tried to get tvmobili to work - actually, I
was trying to get the Samsung to recognize any media server on my
Linux box - and it, tvmobili, had installed itself as a daemon, so that
Samsung also recognizes tvmobili as a device each time I am on its
"All Content" page.)
I then add the Library local directories: Pictures, Videos and Music.
Note that with serviio 1.4 there is NO Save button on the TAB so just
about all of the discussions about saving and all serviio Library TAB
images showing the Save button are not applicable. The "Force refresh"
button which is active prior to adding the first directory, becomes
greyed out and -NEVER- goes back to an active, pushable state.
When I kill serviio (both serviio.sh and serviio-console.sh) and
the restart them, the previously added Library locally directories
are no longer there in the console Library TAB).
When I select Serviio on the Samsung page and then select either the
Audio, Video or Image sub-window, any of the "Presentation" sub-category
names I had set to "Display category" are represented as lower
sub-windows, but clicking on any of them yields the message:
"No stored files found". If any of the sub-categories are marked as
"Display content only", they display nothing - no sub-window.
An interesting note, tvmobili, which is listed on Samsung as a device
also displays the sub-windows: Audio, Video and Image; but, in this
case all of the content is present in lower level windows and all of
it can be displayed/listened-to on the Samsung.
So, how do I configure Serviio so that the Library directories I
enter on in the console actually get saved and used?
Thanks
Richard
