Serviio 1.4.1.1 install issues

I am running ubuntu server 12.04, and serviio 1.4.1.1 headless.

After removing an earlier version and installing v1.4.1.1 I cannot connect via web interface and serviidroid gives me this error when I try to add a folder to the library " The server did not understand the request which is probably because something has been removed from the REST api. Please contact me to fix this." When I try to access via the web I get an error: "The server has been stopped" even though 'service serviio status' yields serviio start/running, process 18870

something wrong with the database. Try to install again and make sure you have write access to the serviio folders
