Tracks (2013) showing as Tracks (1977)

Hi
I added the movie 'Tracks (2013) about a month ago with no issue. It showed the correct metadata.
Recently it has changed to the 1977 version of the movie featuring Dennis Hopper.
I've tried a few things with no success. Deleted file & re-added it, moved it to another drive, re-named it as 'Tracks' I've ensured the that file name is as the movie db.
I've had a similar problem before & think there could be a problem with the API.
Just wondering if you could please shed some light.
Thanks

You can name the folder or file name to include the year in brackets.

Thanks Zip but I do that to all my files. They all have the year in brackets.
Trying it without the year was an option I tried to see if it would correct itself.

I had one (and only one) file that would not get its data correctly. What finally worked was to make a folder just for that file with the full name, then name the file with the year. The movie was Cherry 2000, and I had to name the file itself Cherry (1987).mpg. I did not include the year in the file name. This was the only way it grabbed the correct metadata.

No other file made me work so hard. :)

Re: Tracks (2013) showing as Tracks (1977)

Hi atc98092

I've tried changing the folder to 'Tracks' & the file to Tracks (2013) & that didn't work.
Also tried changing the folder to Tracks (2013) & file to 'Tracks' that still didn't work
Tried also changing the folder to Tracks & file to Tracks (1977) & that also didn't work and folder to Tracks (1977) & file to Tracks.
None of these options seem to be working. Am I doing it incorrectly?

Cheers

I suspect the year field in themoviedb database is wrong - it works if you rename the file as "Tracks (2014)" despite themoviedb clearly labelling it as a 2013 movie :?
