Unable to add media

Just installed Serviio 1.5 on Debian Jessie server (no desktop).
FFmpeg installed
Java 8 installed

Also installed php web ui v1.4beta.

The web UI displays as expected in my browser.
I can add a folder to the library. But when I press "save", the added folder disappears and no content (from the folder) is added.

How can I trouble shoot this?

Thanks!

/Erik

Re: Unable to add media

is there something in the server serviio.log? It looks like the webui version is either old or has not fully implemented all the 1.5 API changes

Re: Unable to add media

Thanks for a quick reply. Great support as always!

Here's the last 400 lines of serviio.log.

Is there another way apart from PHP Web UI to add media and configure Serviio?
Please keep in mind I run a Debian server (headless) so I have no desktop.

Re: Unable to add media

Yes. Looks like incompatible version. You could try the latest webui version from viewtopic.php?f=17&t=12593

Otherwise, if you have Android device, give ServiiDroid a try

Re: Unable to add media

Thanks!

Updating the PHP Web UI made it a bit more "robust" but the upload still didn't work. The log reviled this error message:

  Code:
2015-01-20 18:36:08,253 WARN  [ServiioStatusService] UnknownFieldException occured. Returning error code 500 to the REST layer. Message: No such field org.serviio.ui.representation.SharedFolder.scanForUpdates

But I installed the android app and it worked wonderfully. Congratulations on a great app. I bought the donation key immediately. :D

Re: Unable to add media

yes - you need the version that is compatible for 1.5. It will appear on the wiki, once it's available:
