[SOLVED] Unsupported File Format

did you try it in MediaBrowser?

I did not before.

It works on MediaBrowser! So do the other 4 files that were experiencing the same problem.

If the file works on MediaBrowser it should also work on ServiiGo since it's not DLNA based, but it doesn't. It's very strange.

I still can't find a reason why it shows up as "Unknown" or "Unsupported."

I accessed the database using SQuirrel and compared the entries of the working files against the non-working files. Still haven't seen anything alarming except that 4 of the 5 files have a SAR of 16303:16200 unlike any other media file.

I tried another android app and got this error...

"No streaming URL available (probable Media Server bug!)"

Can you have a look at the file via Intel's AV Media Controller? (link in my signature). You have to assign the IP of the PC running the tool a profile in the Serviio console (e.g. Samsung, or LG), then restart the tool, browse to the file, shw properties and see if it has any Resources. There should be at least 2 (thumbnail and the video).

Both the file and the folder would give me the same results for a non-working file.

For a working file, the properties will show two (2) resources. Where #1 is the .m4v and #2 is the .jpg.
