LG 32LM340S and subfiles

Hello, is it possible to watch/transcode movies with .sub files
I have an LG TV and it's only support srt files. But the most subfiles are in the .sub .idx files format.

Serviio will find then and serve them as srt, so it should work, even without transcoding (the .sub that is)

Re: LG 32LM340S and subfiles

The name of the file is Prometheus.Dunkle.Zeichen.2012.German.AC3.BDRip.x264-WodkaE.mkv the name of the sub file is Prometheus.Dunkle.Zeichen.2012.German.AC3.BDRip.x264-WodkaE.sub, Prometheus.Dunkle.Zeichen.2012.German.AC3.BDRip.x264-WodkaE.srt and Prometheus.Dunkle.Zeichen.2012.German.AC3.BDRip.x264-WodkaE.idx, if i rename Prometheus.Dunkle.Zeichen.2012.German.AC3.BDRip.x264-WodkaE.srt to Prometheus.Dunkle.Zeichen.2012.German.AC3.BDRip.x264-WodkaE.old , i did not see subtitle.
when i play the movie, the tmp directory is empty.

Must i need a ffmpeg-wrapper? And where get i ffmpeg-wrapper for my nsa 325?

Now, i have copy the directory with subtiles ans Movie to my windows 7 HDD and look if is work with the serviio 1.2 version for Windows and i dont see any subtitles. I only see srt subtitles. When i remove this subtitles, sub subtitles didn't shown.

The file name is not present in the log, try to play it again and post the new log.

Re: LG 32LM340S and subfiles

Thanks.

First of all, let's try to solve this error: What is your FFmpeg version and is it built with support for libass?

Second, this should work without burning-in subs, disable that and post detailed log again.
